Description:  At the periphery of the Rosewall estate in Kitengela, Kajiado county lies this 25m swimming pool.  It is part of the amenities of the Rosewood, a non-alcoholic and non-smoking restaurant that is found along Balozi road in the area of Kitengela town generally referred to as New Valley. Unless any trees come up soon, the swimming pool does get to be under the sun for quite a while giving sunbathers amble time to enjoy the hot sun of Kitengela.

The baby pool is huge and detached from the main pool and is used for swimming instructions.

Description: This swimming pool is a facility of Farlane hotel situated off Balozi road, of Kitengela town in Kajiado county. The outdoor pool is quite small for an average swimmer but should do for someone learning to swim or just wishing for a dip of cold water.

Driving: From Namanga road, drive 1.7 km on Balozi road then turn left into Mtongwe road. The hotel is 200 metres on this road.

The Grays Oak Swimming pool is an irregularly shaped, almost circular, swimming facility at the Grays Oak Hotel in Kitengela. It is located off the Kitengela Namanga Road about 3km from Kobil Petrol station. The longest diagonal 10m wide. The area around the pool get dump and humid and feels congested.

The pool is only suitable for children who are learning to swim or for hotel guests wanting to cool off from the heat of Kitengela.

A very small lagoon type of a pool suitable only for fun splattering as you cool off with a beer in the gardens of the hotel. A partitioning at the tip of the lagoon serves as the baby pool.

However, the pool is very clean just like the rest of the hotel and is apt for a resident in the hotel

The pool may be ideal for someone learning to swim as the shallow end is just wide enough to give one the encouragement of having swum across the pool. However is crucial to note that there is no lifeguard present in this pool. However the there is pool attendant who keeps the pool relatively clean.

Getting there:-
About two kilometres from Kiengela town towards Namanga is a Total petrol station (formally Yukos). Take the road directly opposite this petrol station. It is a long dirt road stretch almost a kilometre long going deep into the upcoming settlements. There is a sign

Public means:
Take the Kisaju tuk-tuks at the Equity stage and ride up to the Yukos (now a Total petrol station). From here either walk the two kilometres or take a boda-boda.
