To stop a wrong transaction, press any number or letter and press send within 25 seconds.
If you send money to the wrong number:
Call 234 or 200 for postpaid line or 100 prepay
The reversal will be done when money sent to the wrong number is still available in the receiver account. Send the confirmation message to 456 for reversal If successful, you will receive an SMS indicating that the reversal is complete.
Hakikisha This service enables you to confirm the name of the intended recipient of the funds, before completing an M-PESA transaction.

After you send money using safaricom sim card too, you will get a notification with the intended recipient’s Name
Incase something is wrong and you want to stop the transaction, send any letter or number within 25 seconds.
Note: Pressing cancel, dismiss or close will NOT stop the transaction.
The pop-up feature will also apply when customers are making payments to Lipa Na M-PESA and agent withdrawals. M-PESA Agents will also benefit from the service when depositing funds to customer numbers.
