No. It’s been said that guinea pigs kill rats but it is not true. Actually, the opposite may be true that rats kill guinea pigs. Just like every other farmer, guinea pig farmers have to contend with rats in their farm.
The best way of controlling rats is to poison them continuously. Use baits placed at strategic places at the farm and replace the bait every time it is consumed. Keep the bait on even when no rats or mice are being observed.
