National Honours and Awards Committee

The National Honours and Awards Committee advises the president of Kenya on who to award the orders, decorations, and medals of Kenya. The recipients are nominated by their county commissioners, government agencies, religious institutions, non-governmental entities, individuals and other community-based groups.

The medals issued are divided into eight categories
