Narok County
Narok County is one of the 14 counties of the Rift Valley region (formerly Rift Valley province) and is one of the 47 counties of Kenya that were created by the 2010 constitution. It was curved out of the former Narok District in Rift Valley Province. Size wise it is the 11th largest county, covering an area of 17,920 km2 and the 20th in terms of population with 851000 inhabitants as per the 2009 population census.
The county borders Nakuru and Bomet County to the north, Tanzania County to the south, Kisii and Migori to the west and Kajiado and Nakuru to the east.
Narok County has 6 Constituencies, Kilgoris, Emurua Dikirr, Narok North, Narok East, Narok South, and Narok West.
The County headquarters of Narok is Narok Town.
