The swimming pool is a lodging facility of the Bible Translation Centre at Ruiru, Kiambu County. The Bible Translation & Literacy centre is a Christian organization that was established in 1981 to facilitate Bible translation, sustainable literacy and language development programmes among small language groups in Kenya and beyond.

Description: This is a tiny swimming pool at Kiawanugu, lower Kabete on your way to Kingéro. On the day we visited the water was green but the pool was packed to capacity all the same. The baby pool was also full.

Perhaps the proprietors were creating a health spa since they advertise a Sauna, steam bath and a gym.

Description: If all you need is some time frolicking in cool water then these pools can serve your purpose. Otherwise, there isn’t much swimming that one can do therein. There are four irregularly shaped pools each not more than 10 metres in diameter.  One of them serves as the baby pool.

Payment: All major cards are accepted as well as mpesa and cash.
Other Facilities: Bar, restaurant , Nyama choma, Accommodation and gardens
